Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre

Can I try a free class?

Your first class is always free! Schedule yours here.

Do I need to pre-register or can I just show up?

While you can absolutely just show up, we would prefer you pre-register. By registering, you ensure you get details about where to meet us and what to expect. Register here.

What do I need to bring to class?

We suggest you bring water, a yoga mat or towel, and comfortable exercise shoes & clothing for yourself. You may want to bring snacks, toys, and diaper bag essentials for your kiddo. Any type of stroller will do.

I just had a baby, when can I join stroller classes?

You can begin attending class with your doctor's clearance to begin exercising, typically after your six week postpartum appointment. See you there, mama!

Can I attend classes if I am pregnant?

Absolutely! We encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise throughout their pregnancies as directed by their physician. We are trained to modify any exercise that poses a challenge as you progress through your pregnancy.

How will I know if the class location has changed due to weather?

In case of inclement weather, outdoor class locations may change. Please pre-enroll for classes to be emailed with last minute weather location changes or cancellations. You are also welcome to email us with any questions at chesapeake@fit4mom.com.

Do I need to be a runner or in great shape to attend these classes?

Absolutely not! FIT4MOM is for moms of all fitness levels. We meet for a warm up, then power walk or jog to each exercise station. You exercise at the pace and intensity you feel most comfortable.

Do I need a jogging stroller for the workout?

No, any stroller will do. As long as the stroller is sturdy, not prone to tipping and all children can be safely strapped into their seats for the duration of class, it will work just fine!

What if my baby doesn't like being in the stroller, is fussy, or gets hungry?

Our classes are designed to keep the kids moving and engaged by incorporating songs and various books, toys, and props. However, if you need to change, nurse, or console your baby, please feel free to do so. We are all moms, so you are in good company!

Can I bring my older children to class?

Absolutely! Your big kids can walk beside your stroller (if there is not a seat for them). However, Stroller Strides is not an exercise program for children.

Can I bring my kids to class?

Nope. Our Body Boost classes are for moms only, to create a safe space just for us. However, if you want to bring your kids to class, check out Stroller Strides.

Not at all! FIT4MOM is for moms of all fitness levels. We empower you through choice. You will be coached by a trained fitness instructor who will guide you through exercises best for your experience, fitness level, and stage of motherhood. You exercise at the intensity you feel most comfortable.

Run Club

What if I haven't run since before I had my baby? What if I've never run at all?

Our Run Club coaches will lead you to your first mile! Whether it is your first mile ever, or your first mile post-baby, Run Club is appropriate for all levels.

Can I bring my child with me to Run Club?

Run Club is stroller friendly! Any kiddo that joins you for group runs should be safely secured in a stroller. Some scheduled group runs may not have routes that are stroller friendly, so make sure to check with your coach about scheduled running locations!

What should I bring to Run Club?

Running shoes and water are a must! You should also bring headphones and music if you prefer to run while listening to something. A yoga mat may also be helpful for our cool down.

Our Membership

What memberships do you offer?

We have memberships and class pass packages to meet the demands of your schedule, budget, and lifestyle. We want to find the right fit for your current stage of motherhood, so reach out to us at chesapeake@fit4mom.com for more information about our memberships and class passes.

  • Our FIT4MOM Membership provides unlimited access to ALL of our classes at any of the FIT4MOM Chesapeake locations. It gives you the most flexibility to attend as many workouts as you'd like throughout the month. Membership also includes invitation into our private Facebook group, weekly playgroups and activities for your kids, monthly Moms’ Night Outs, Village events, and more! This plan costs $99 per month.
  • Our Lite Membership provides you with five (5) classes per month, which can be used at any class on the schedule within one month. Class credits do not roll over. Membership also includes invitation into our private Facebook group, weekly playgroups and activities for your kids, monthly Moms’ Night Outs, Village events, and more! This plan costs $75 per month.
  • We also offer class pass packages, Maternity Leave Passes, and a Teacher pass. Send us an email at chesapeake@fit4mom.com to learn more!

What is the enrollment fee for a membership?

  • There is a $75 sign-up fee for all new monthly memberships. If you sign up for membership on the first day of class you pay a $0 enrollment fee. If you cancel your membership and then wish to rejoin, you may pay a $75 reactivation fee to rejoin.

Can I bring family or friends who are visiting to class with me?

Visitors are welcome to come to class free of charge! Send an email to chesapeake@fit4mom.com so we can set up their account. All visitors must sign our waiver in order to participate. If you have an extended-stay guest who will participate longer than one week, we can get them set up with an option to meet their budget and schedule.

Who do I contact with questions about my membership?

If you ever have any questions on your membership, you can email chesapeake@fit4mom.com.

How do I place my membership on hold or cancel it?

We understand that mom life requires flexibility, so our hold and cancellation policy provides just that. You can cancel your membership or request a hold on your account by emailing us at chesapeake@fit4mom.com. We will provide you with a form to submit in order to properly process your request. All cancellation requests need to be received in writing 30 days before the next payment is due. All hold requests need to be received in writing 7 business days before the next payment is due. Our system auto prorates payments so no paid membership is lost.

How do I update my credit card on file?

From the Member App:

  • Tap your profile picture in the top left corner.
  • Select Payments.
  • Tap on the card you want to replace.
  • Enter your new card information.

From a Computer:

  • Log into your Glofox account on the Schedule page.
  • Click "Profile" in the top right corner.
  • On the left-hand side, locate Card Information.
  • Delete the old card.
  • Add your new card details.
